Attractions & Features
Main Attractions
The centrepiece of Let’s Go Hydro is its vast floating water park, an inflatable assault course stretching across the shimmering man-made lake. This action-packed water playground features over 40 interlinked elements including towering climbing walls, air-filled trampolines, wobble pads, swing ropes, and sprawling balance beams.
At over 300 metres in length, it ranks among the largest and most elaborate water parks the UK has to offer. Each section is designed to test agility, balance, and bravery — whether you are diving into the deep or scrambling back onto a slippery float. Safety is paramount, with mandatory buoyancy aids and attentive lifeguards stationed throughout.
Families, groups, and solo adventurers alike will find something to enjoy. If you have searched for “waterparks near me” or “water parks UK” looking for that standout destination, Let’s Go Hydro is likely to top the list for Northern Ireland.
Special Rides
Thrill-seekers are spoiled for choice. Dare to conquer the colossal water slides that plunge directly into the lake or launch yourself from the inflatable blast bag – a thrilling air-cushion launcher where one person jumps and another is catapulted into the air.
The adrenaline continues with cable wakeboarding, available for both beginners and experienced riders, using an overhead pulley system. It is one of the few water parks in the UK offering this exhilarating sport. For those who want to soar above the action, the zipline adventure gives you a bird’s-eye view before splashing down into the water.
Kids & Family Areas
Young visitors are warmly welcomed. The dedicated Junior Zone is tailored for children aged 6–10, featuring smaller, safer inflatables with softer landings and shallower depths. Parents will appreciate the separate splash zone — perfect for toddlers to paddle and explore under close supervision.
Lifeguards are trained to work with younger age groups, and clear signage ensures that each zone’s age restrictions are easy to follow. These family-friendly spaces set Let’s Go Hydro apart from other “water parks close to me” style searches, delivering a balanced day out for all ages.
Relaxation Areas
While the main lake is a hub of activity, there are several spaces designed purely for unwinding. The artificial beach, with real sand and lakeside views, is a lovely spot for sunbathing or picnicking. Luxurious floating cabanas can be rented for private group retreats, complete with loungers, drinks service, and panoramic views.
For the ultimate escape, guests can book a session in one of the wood-fired lakeside saunas — a soothing contrast to the cool water and perfect after a session in the water park. Whether you are looking for excitement or simply googling “swim pool near me” for a relaxing day, this resort has it all.
Unique Features
Let’s Go Hydro is far more than just a water park — it is an all-season adventure resort with constantly evolving attractions. Among the most memorable are the floating cinema events. Imagine watching a classic film from an inflatable ring or kayak, the screen glowing on the water’s surface. During summer, the resort hosts the hugely popular “Smoke Let’s Go Hydro” fireworks show, a spectacle that transforms the lake into a light-and-sound extravaganza.
Sports enthusiasts can get involved with the onsite Let’s Go Hydro Rugby and padel courts, while music lovers flock to their open-air DJ sessions and themed party nights. For Halloween, expect spooky obstacle courses and eerie torchlit walks across the park. This mix of water fun and cultural entertainment is unrivalled in the region — truly a standout among UK water parks.

Let’s Go Hydro Reviews
Went with a big group of mates – the place seems very well run and while there was about 60+ of us in the water the guards were very attentive.
Wetsuits, socks and life vest all provided and felt comfortable.
Some of the facilities could do with attention, like the lockers. We struggled for some time to find lockers that weren’t smashed in. Felt like being at school
Suggestion: Some mirrors would be ideal, so that I can see that my wetsuit is on both inside-out and back-to-front :).
The changing rooms were filthy — honestly, I felt like I’d need a tetanus shot just from being in there. I ended up refusing to get changed because of how dirty they were. The photos speak for themselves.
The courts were slightly better, but still not up to standard. There were nails and screws scattered on the ground around the courts — I had to walk over them just to retrieve a ball. To make matters worse, there was a ladder propped up nearby, which could easily have fallen on someone walking past.
It’s genuinely shocking that a place this big, with so much foot traffic and income, could be in such poor condition — especially so soon after opening. Really disappointing experience.
Safety & Cleanliness
Visitors highlight the clean facilities and attentive lifeguard staff.
