We booked ahead by 4 days & caught a very hot day. There was plenty of natural shade off the beach area to stay cool in !
The water was cool but not cold & obviously busy as families splashed around. I counted 4 lifeguards !! Very vigilant and perhaps when it’s very busy ball games in the water should be discouraged!! Everything was clean, the bins were emptied every hour & toilets looked like it was the beginning of the day…not the end! Well done cleaning teams! We loved our day & will bring our grandkids back soon.

Took my 3 children and had a wonderful time. There is so much to do. There are two play parks, a toddler paddle area, swimming and family area, sandy beach. Row, pedal and motor boat hire, snack shack, crazy golf and more. What I loved was that everything had been thought out. So many picnic benches, some shade cabins and BBQ spots. Will definitely revisit!!

I visited Cotswold Country Park and Beach with my mom, sister, and 2-year-old daughter, and we had a great time. We enjoyed the swan ride, played on the beach, and spent time in the swimming areas. We were able to set up a small tent and relax while taking in the beautiful views. We also had lunch at the café, which was convenient. Since it was a school day, the park was quiet with fewer people around, which made it even more enjoyable. Admission was also reasonably priced. Highly recommended for a peaceful family outing!!!

We had a really nice day. It was far busier than expected for a school day. It would be quite nice if there was a 12+ area as sad toddlers sort of take away from the relaxing atmosphere but hey ho.
The crazy golf shack didn’t have staff in so we waited around 15 mins before someone showed up yo give us the clubs, already paid in the shop, not the most inspired course but it was ok and only five pound.
We didn’t go on the aqua park but it was bookable and looked good fun.
Good selection of ice creams and drink.
Toilets are unisex which was nice to see inclusivity. No issues.
We walked around the whole lake, leaving chairs etc unattended, no issues.
Will definitely go back.

Safety & Cleanliness

Safety and cleanliness are generally well-received, with lifeguard presence at the beach and regular lake water quality checks by the Environmental Agency. Some reviews mention clean facilities, while others note occasional litter during peak times.
