Water Adventure Play Park Reviews
Visitors describe the Water Adventure play park as “a fantastic free day out” and “perfect for keeping kids entertained.” Some note the lack of on-site facilities like dedicated baby changing areas but appreciate the nearby amenities along the seafront.
The staff were amazing, they actually let us in for free (due to the weather), whereas it’s £3 for all day per child usually. We offered to pay upon leaving too but they just said they were glad we had a good time and not to worry about it! What lovely people!!
The park itself is great and is split into what I would say is 3 sections, with ample grassy spaces in between. There’s a smaller children’s area with swings, a slide, etc. Then there’s an older children’s area at the back (we didn’t get a chance to venture over that far), and lastly, the water park section.
The water was so much fun. I’d say the temperature of the water was tepid- definitely not as cold as I expected it to be. The ground was colourful and a great fun experience for myself and my daughter. I couldn’t wait to get stuck in as an adult!
There’s an ice cream hut and a small cafe. We got some hot chocolate when we were there which was tasty.
I can imagine it’s very popular in the summer. It has a great location; right opposite the sea front, and with Melrose Car Park right next door.
